Did you know?

Generally our staged productions have costs in excess of £12,000 to present.

Our current production, Avenue Q, 1s no exception with costs of over £14,000.

  • The supporting professional band can represent as much as 20% of the costs

  • less than 70% of the show's income is generated from ticket sales

  • Front of House sales, Advertising and Sponsorship help us to plug the gap

  • As a registered charity/not-for-profit organisation BCOS does not receive any public funding

  • We rely on the generosity of individuals, organisations, businesses, charitable trusts & foundations, and our audiences to help us survive in an increasingly difficult economic climate

Sponsorship

In addition to adverts we also offer the opportunity for event sponsors.

Please contact us via publicity@bcoswesing.org.uk to discuss in more detail

Sponsor an Instrument!

In 2016, for the first time, we offered individuals the chance to sponsor the orchestra for our staged production, Carmen The Musical, and we were delighted that so many people stepped forward and supported us. We did the same for Pinafore, Chess, Evita, and Little Shop of Horrors and were delighted with the success! We gave you a year off of orchestra sponsorship for The Addams Family, but we're back this year for Avenue Q click the button for more details

Front of House Sponsor

Our audience's Front of House (FOH) experience is as important to us as the show itself.

Good quality food and drink is important.

For the past couple of years we've tried to carry through the show's theme into front of house.

With HMS Pinafore we had nautical inspired beers "Pacifico'

For Chess we had Chess themed table cloths etc and Russian and American beers.

For Evita we had a similarly themed FOH, with Argentinian Wines and Beers.

The Mikado allowed us to taste some Japanese beers!
For Little Shop we encouraged our audience to bring donations for the local Foodbank following the "Feed me!" theme, with great success.

Are you, or do you know, a local events/bar business that would be interested in associating themselves with the local community and supporting this side of our production?

We typically have costs in excess of £500 for the FOH and would love to be able to have somebody support us. email publicity@bcoswesing.org.uk for more information
